So, I got my orders in an email yesterday. Called the local TMO (whatever that stands for) on the Air Force Academy so that I could schedule a packing appointment (which I go to on Monday so they can tell me when the movers will come and pack up my stuff). I was told I have to talk to travel to get my tickets, but heaven forbid they answer their phone. I don't have an APO address yet...the principal had said her secretary was going this past Monday to get me one, but I got an email from the secretary today saying she needed a copy of my orders to get the APO address...ah, the government in action; no one seems to be in agreement as to what needs to be done.
So, not a whole lot more to say at this point...we will see what this week brings.
On a good note, Nikki flew in yesterday with my little Jake. The four boys got a picture together...they were so darn cute! So despite not being in Colorado at Christmas time (unless I can swing it) to get the four boys pictures together (if they were all in Colorado at XMas time anyway) I do have one or at least will on the 11th of August, just in time to take with me to Germany.
