9/16/11 dinner cruise

Well here it is Friday September 16 and what did I do? Well I somehow ended up with very few students today. Seems there were special guests and so I didn't end up with my regular visitations by students. Then after school I boarded a bus for a little drive to Heidelberg where we boarded our little boat. Beer ordered and we launched off. We had a lovely buffet for our dinner and a nice ride on the River Neckar up to Neckarsteinach. Unfortunately, with the time of day (or evening really) it was difficult to get very many pictures, but here are a few.

Now, it is time for me to take a power nap since I have to be awake in another 3.5 hours to walk over to the other side of base and get on yet another bus...for a tour of the Swiss border. What was I thinking???
